Inspiration
I've been teaching middle school students lately and that really inspired me to program something like this.
What it does
it teaches the students how to do quadratic equation solutions and give them practices to do.
How we built it
I built the program on a IDE call intelliJ
Challenges we ran into
my first idea was to build it with html and css but then i don't have the apps on my computer to do that so I decided to do a java version and due to that I wasn't able to put images inside. I have a schedule issue and I can't participate in the entirety of the Hackathon.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I was just able to pull off something that's kind of like what I was planning to do on html. in additional within 2 months of java experience, I was able to code something that works like this I feel like I did great.
What we learned
through this competition I was able to learn about how sometimes technical and time issues will hit in and I must make adjustments and make the best out of it.
What's next for math educational tool for middle school students.
if I can get more time I will definitely add more lessons in and make it more user friendly and definitely code it in html so I can insert images and videos to show the math solutions and lessons.
