Inspiration

from the guiding questions of "How do we ensure a just energy transition that benefits most, if not all, layers of society?", "How can technology help in lowering the capital cost for sustainable energy?", and "How can we mobilise individuals to take part in the sustainable energy transition?" we had a sudden burst of inspiration of a business idea that would answer all of those questions

What it does

connects the retail investor to renewable energy developers in order to circumvent the main problems slowing down renewable energy transition in Indonesia

How we built it

a whole lot of reading through reviews and papers, along with some business acumen and intuition

Challenges we ran into

figuring out and visualising the current and future estimated landscape of electricity production in Indonesia in order to plan the strategies

Accomplishments that we're proud of

our plan allows a very large proportion of the Indonesian people to reap its benefits

What we learned

renewable energy is getting cheaper, but we just need a large initial capital investment
