Inspiration
Educational inequality in Indonesia, particularly in underdeveloped regions, remains a significant barrier to achieving equal access to quality of life and opportunity. Many areas still face inadequate school facilities, a shortage of qualified teachers, poor transportation access, and limited community participation due to a lack of information. Additionally, reports from citizens regarding local education conditions are often ignored or left unaddressed. In this context, the need for a transparent, participatory, and data-driven system is critical.

How We Built It
This platform was developed using Next.js 15 and the Gemini AI API.
Challenges We Encountered
One of the main challenges was the limited availability of accurate and up-to-date public data related to educational issues in Indonesia.
Accomplishments We Are Proud Of
We are proud to have delivered this project within a short timeframe, offering a solution grounded in real-world problems—specifically in the field of education, which remains one of Indonesia’s most pressing challenges.
What We Learned
We learned the critical importance of accessible public data, especially in the education sector. This project revealed the depth of educational issues in our country and the need for collaborative, data-informed solutions.
What’s Next for MataNusa
We aim to collaborate further with communities, citizens, and potentially government stakeholders to ensure accurate data collection and better decision-making based on real educational needs.
