Inspiration

Students often spend equal time on every topic even when their knowledge gaps are very different. MasteryMap AI turns each answer into an updated learning map and recommends the concept that should be practiced next.

What it does

MasteryMap AI is an Android adaptive-learning app. It uses Bayesian Knowledge Tracing to maintain per-concept mastery estimates, predicts success, and explains why the next question was selected. A RevenueCat-backed pro_insights entitlement unlocks a personalized next-session study plan.

RevenueCat integration

The Android build uses the RevenueCat Capacitor SDK. It initializes RevenueCat with a public Test Store SDK key, discovers the current Offering, performs the Test Store purchase flow, checks CustomerInfo for the pro_insights entitlement, restores purchases, and re-checks entitlement state after launch. The Next Gen demo is designed for RevenueCat Test Store, so no real-money purchase is needed.

AI / learning model

The adaptive engine is deterministic and explainable rather than an LLM wrapper. Bayesian Knowledge Tracing updates mastery after each response. Question selection combines current mastery, uncertainty, difficulty fit, and spacing urgency. The interface exposes those reasons to the learner.

Privacy and safety

Learning state is stored locally for the demo. No secret RevenueCat REST key is embedded in the client. The repository includes an .env.example for the public Test Store SDK key and keeps credentials out of source control.

Built for Shipaton

This branch packages the educational prototype as an Android application with Capacitor and adds a meaningful RevenueCat entitlement flow specifically for the RevenueCat Shipaton 2026 Next Gen Award.
