Inspiration

Discord had become a very popular platform and most people nowadays spend a lot of their time on the platform. So why not learn some cool new stuff while you are at it.

What it does

The project is a discord bot which has the below functionalities : -

                     1) !p-wiki search_text  =>  Displays a wiki search link and a summary of the searched topic 
                                                                   along with an image. 
                     2) !s-wiki search_topic => Displays a set of results related to the topic.
                     3) !r-wiki no_of_articles => Displays random articles from Wikipedia.

How we built it

It is built using python, discord and Wikipedia API.

Challenges we ran into

Learning the bot functions were a little hard but after a few tutorials and documentation surfing, I was able to overcome the issues.

What we learned

I learnt various Discord functionalities and working with API's. I want to explore further with other API's.

What's next for Mastery

As of now the dictionary tool is located in a separate bot. I want to combine the two. I also want to add other features like translation, Synonym, Course search, etc.
