Inspiration
What inspired us was that we know many people that have disabilities. Seeing them struggle, we wanted to help.
What it does
Real-time AI app for American Sign Language (ASL) recognition, Text to Speech (TTS), and gesture detection—bridging communication gaps with quick, intuitive, and accurate sign translation.
How we built it
We used Google AI Studio, VS Code, as well as other AI resources.
Challenges we ran into
Our hardware was not functioning so we had to drop it.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We had to scrap our whole hardware idea at 10 PM Saturday. We stayed up the whole night creating a whole new product that works.
What we learned
How to properly manage our time on parts of the project to meet deadlines.
What's next for TheMasterMind
Through Muhsen, we plan to work with Project LifeSaver to expand our services to more people.
