Inspiration

I was thinking of making a fun game. I got an idea for using food ordering and making that fun while ordering. I saw a tutorial on youtube about assembling different items together using react. So I used the idea of customizing ones own food in a fun way. Here my Get Chef Go will help to find a way to give you fun and customize your food yourself.

What it does

  1. My project is a web-based application aimed at customizing food in your own way and have a fun time while ordering.
  2. The app serves as a platform for food lovers to show creativity. 3.This way, the app not only creates a sense of community but also sense of satisfaction while ordering food. 4.Users can create his/her own menu, customize his/her own food and then order.

How we built it

  1. I basically focused on building our site using React.JS
  2. I attempted deployment via Heroku, but got it to run successfully locally.

Challenges we ran into

  1. I ran into several issues while coding and pushing code to repositories, which we solved with each others' as well as mentors', help.
  2. There were some libraries which was not working so I reinstall them .

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud that I was able to develop a React app with of the functionality I planned on achieving and enjoyed tackling the issues and bugs I learnt a lot of things in just 36 hours and I made a fun game for people while ordering their food.

What we learned

  1. As I didn't had prior knowledge of React , I learnt quite a lot about these technologies by jumping right into building something like Get Chef Go.
  2. I also learned time-management and approach.

What's next for MasterChef

Trying to add more ingredients and food items and taking it to next level.
