Inspiration
After ice fishing for the first time and seeing manual tip-ups that raise a flag when pulled, we thought there must be a better way.
What it does
The system senses when the string is pulled, sends data to a Flask API, and can be accessed from a website.
How we built it
Lots of flask and a Raspberry Pi to send signals.
Challenges we ran into
Some hardware pieces fried and eventually we had to wait for each other to get parts working.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Having a great first Hackathon and producing a usable product!

How to create an API and website with databases, and how we can connect hardware devices to it

Improve on the website and hardware to polish it out.
