Inspiration

Due to the present pandemic it becomes difficult to recognize who is who when a person wears a mask

What it does

Basically runs a ML algorithm that detects mask and recognizes the face

How I built it

I built using opencv,python and took references from articles

Challenges I ran into

Gathering of dataset Incorporating the face recognition code in the mask detection code

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Well the project gives a recognition of almost 70% accuracy and can detect my mask and face perfectly.

I Learned a lot about opencv, python and machine learning
