Mask Detector

Inspiration

I was inspired when I saw many people casually walking around without a mask

What it does

It detects and tells the percentage of face covered with a mask

How we built it

I build it with OpenCv, Python and Numpy

Challenges we ran into

Training the app was a challenge but we overcame it

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud of making this app which could help lower Covid cases

What we learned

I learned a lot of OpenCv and Numpy

What's next for Mask Detector

This project was also worked on in the DEVSOC 2021 by me, during that time I had completed it but now during this time I have made it more accurate and does not anymore allow edge cases
