Mask Detection Software

With the recent pandemic in place, we thought that it would be perfect to come up with something that the world could use to stay safe in these harsh conditions. This project detects if an individual is wearing a mask or not, this spreads awareness to others around them and also allows places to put restrictions on those individuals. We created a convolutional neural network project that would do just that. One of the bigger challenges we faced was to use a file of images as our input for the project, as this was something new that we had to learn. We are proud of the code that is executed and would pursue more in-depth detection next.
