  Rendering of Express Tool

The recent snowstorm inspired us with its difficulty, making it challenging to go outside and clear the snow. Having to go to school after a snowstorm is a relatable experience for students, so we designed a multifunctional tool to shovel and safely arrive at school. After brainstorming the necessary functionalities, we developed a CAD design using Autodesk Inventor. Scaling and created dimentions for the miniature prototype was challenging since we had to shrink the size while it was still operational and printable. Although our prints didn't all turn up as expected, we were still able to present our ideas and create a tool that incorporated functional elements. Working as a team was crucial for this project to collaborate and share ideas and skills. The Polar Express will continue to create more prototypes and save student lives one design at a time.
