Inspiration

Previously I've thought of using the Marvel API for a project and this hackathon seemed like the perfect time to use it for something.

What it does

Currently the project does not work but it would have been a website in which someone could click on the picture of a character and be directed to a link with that characters information.

How I built it

It is built mainly in JavaScript.

Challenges I ran into

I ran into biting off more than I could chew. I got stuck trying to figure out why it wasn't displaying in a browser window. Currently, I have the problem of only the title being displayed.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I'm proud that I'm taking my first steps into learning about API's and what they can be used for.

What I learned

Now I know more about API's, what they can be used for, and server-side applications.

What's next for Marvel API

I'll continue to refine this project and get it to function. Once it does, I plan to make the interface look nicer with CSS. The final step would be to put the project on Glitch so anyone can go to the website.

Updates

posted an update

I changed all of the href links in index.html. Before the href included the folder the files were in. By correcting this mistake, the project now works correctly. In the future, I will be working on the css.
