MarriageGPT.com Project Overview
Inspiration
The idea for MarriageGPT.com was born out of a growing concern: the increasing number of divorces and the noticeable reluctance people have when it comes to seeking help. Many couples struggle in silence, avoiding therapy or outside support because they feel embarrassed, judged, or simply don't want to talk to anyone. I wanted to build a private, accessible solution—an AI-powered tool that could offer guidance without the pressure of human interaction.
Technology Stack
The core of MarriageGPT.com was built using Bolt.New, a powerful no-code platform that enabled rapid development and integration of AI functionalities. It allowed me to quickly build workflows and prototype ideas without deep backend development.

One of the biggest challenges was getting the AI marriage counselor to respond in a way that felt empathetic, helpful, and natural. It wasn’t just about giving generic advice—it had to sound like a caring friend or a wise coach.
Tuning the AI prompts, handling edge cases, and ensuring sensitive conversations stayed on-track required a lot of iteration, prompt engineering, and workflow testing.
What I Learned
This project taught me a lot about how to:
- Integrate and customize OpenAI's API for conversational use-cases
- Use Bolt.New to manage workflows and real-time interactions
- Handle sensitive topics with empathy through AI
- Troubleshoot unexpected AI behavior in emotionally nuanced situations
Looking Ahead
MarriageGPT is still growing. I plan to:
- Add support for multilingual conversations
- Build a mobile-first experience
- Introduce shared couple check-ins and games
If just one couple feels heard, reconnects, or avoids separation because of this project, it’s all worth it.
