Marmorista PRO

Inspiration

In many Brazilian stone shops, field measurements still begin on paper. The seller returns to the office, recalculates the area, redraws the project, prepares a quote, and only then contacts the customer. That delay can cost the sale, while calculation errors can cost material.

I built Marmorista PRO around the workflows I see every day in the stone industry.

What it does

Marmorista PRO turns measurements into organized technical output directly from a phone or computer. It includes dedicated modules for:

• Kitchens: straight, L-shaped and U-shaped
• Washbasins
• Thresholds and window sills
• Stairs and fan-shaped steps

The app calculates square meters and linear finishes, generates editable SVG technical drawings, creates cutting lists, builds branded technical PDFs, and makes them ready to send through WhatsApp.

How I built it

It is a responsive PWA built with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and SVG, deployed on Cloudflare Pages and prepared for Android packaging with Bubblewrap. The interface was designed around real field use: large controls, mobile-first forms, visual measurements, and reusable project modules.

Challenges

The hardest part was converting trade knowledge—edges, aprons, wall sides, cut lists, wet and dry areas, and stair geometry—into simple rules without turning the app into a heavy ERP.

Accomplishments

A working web version supports the main project categories and produces technical documents that can move from the client visit to the shop floor. It is currently in final testing before Google Play publication.

Next steps include login and subscription control, customer and project history, cloud sync, improved PDFs, and integration with Pedrita IA.
