Inspiration
I wanted a simple way to understand what is actually moving in the markets without digging through dozens of charts or news feeds. Most tools feel noisy, so I built something that feels like a focused companion that reads the market with clarity.
What it does
MarketMuse analyzes stock and crypto trends in real time and translates volatility, sentiment, and price movement into short insights. It highlights momentum shifts, emotional tone in the market, and gives clear guidance on what to watch next.
How we built it
I built a lightweight agent that ingests price changes, sentiment indicators, and short-term patterns. The frontend presents the insights in a clean and polished interface so users see clear signals rather than raw data. The entire workflow runs locally for the demo.
Challenges we ran into
The biggest challenge was presenting complex market signals in a way that feels simple and human. Market data moves fast, so designing an agent that can summarize trends without overwhelming the user required careful tuning and layout adjustments.
Accomplishments that we’re proud of
I was able to turn noisy market data into clear insights with a clean user experience that feels intuitive. The agent reacts quickly, the UI feels polished, and the project delivers value even in a short hackathon window.
What we learned
I learned how to simplify financial analysis so that anyone can understand it without losing meaning. I also learned how helpful an AI layer can be when translating technical patterns into accessible insights.
What’s next for MarketMuse
Next steps include adding deeper technical indicators, optional portfolio tracking, and a conversational mode where users can ask for explanations or trade ideas. The long-term vision is to make MarketMuse a full personal market analyst that updates throughout the day.
