Inspired by the challenge to build tools that measure design effectiveness beyond aesthetics. Created to help entrepreneurs identify underserved market opportunities while simultaneously ensuring their digital products meet professional accessibility standards through real-time WCAG compliance checking and visual experience analytics.

What it does

This project is a market opportunity detection dashboard that analyzes competition vs demand to identify high-potential business opportunities, with interactive charts, filtering, and CSV export capabilities. It includes built-in accessibility checking tools and color contrast analyzers to ensure WCAG compliance and optimal visual experience for all users.

Challenges we ran into

We faced some challenges in deploying it on Vercel or Netlify. So, these challenges couldn't be fixed my ourselves because of all beginners. Then we moved to other development tools like Lovable

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of the accessibility-first approach with WCAG 2.1 AA compliance, full keyboard navigation, and built-in accessibility scoring tools that ensure the dashboard is usable by everyone. The production-ready design combines powerful market analytics with visual experience testing, making it both a business intelligence tool and an accessibility validation platform.

What we learned

We learned how to build production-ready applications that prioritize accessibility from the start, implementing WCAG standards, keyboard navigation, and real-time accessibility scoring. We also gained experience integrating interactive data visualizations with user-friendly filtering and export functionality while maintaining high performance and browser compatibility.

What's next for Market-Detector-MVP

Next steps include deploying to production platforms like Vercel or Netlify, running comprehensive audits with Lighthouse and WAVE tools, and setting up user analytics with Microsoft Clarity to monitor Core Web Vitals and gather feedback for iterative improvements. We'll also focus on enhancing the data customization features to support real-time market data integration and expanding the accessibility testing suite.
