Inspiration: As a student at Marianopolis, I often struggle to find a place to study since our campus is so small and filled with a large number of students. Especially during activity periods, the library and study rooms are often packed with students, and some free classrooms have people talking loudly. Therefore, I created this website to save the students' time to find a suitable place to study.
What it does
It lets the students rate the classrooms and the library on a scale of 5 based on the crowdedness and the noise level, allowing all the students to find an environment that meets their expectations.
How we built it
Unfortuanetly, I have zero skill in web designing, so I mostly used AI to do this project. I basically handdrawed the map of my school and ask AI to generate code.
Challenges we ran into
The sizes and the locations of classrooms and the library didn't match the real life cases, so I often had to look into the codes to adjust them.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I learnt how to make a website and upload it and familiarized the interface of Visual Studio Code by adjusting the sizes and locations of classrooms and changing the names and colours.
What we learned
Creating a website using Firebase, uploading my website via netlify, and understanding the concepts of web-designing
