Inspiration - My inspiration was the local art scene in Marietta. There are a lot of artists here and many galleries. However, I know people who don't know how to find local artists since many don't have website pages or information about where their work is at. So, I wanted to solve this problem.

What it does - My website allows citizens to find local artists and allows these artists to post profiles with information. It connects the two groups together and gets the artist's name out there.

How we built it - I built it on VS Code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I also would watch videos to learn concepts.

Challenges we ran into - There were many challenges I ran into because I don't have a ton of experience. The biggest challenge was storing data with tools like MongoDB which I still want to learn about.

Accomplishments that we're proud of - I am very proud of this whole project. This was my first hackathon and I have not been coding for long. I'm proud of what I got done and learned over this weekend.

What we learned - I learned a lot about CSS and HTML. I did not realize how vital CSS is in the development of a website. Many capabilities that I thought were handled in JavaScript where actually handled in CSS.

What's next for Marietta Art Scene - What's next for the project is having data storage of user information and allowing user's to create a more in-depth profile.
