Inspiration
MaRe is a brand defined by restraint and science. While its product is world-class, its B2B acquisition funnel functioned as a “leaky bucket.” The existing “For Professionals” page relied on a generic web form—creating significant friction for busy owners of $1M+ salons.
We were inspired to design a system that reflects the MaRe experience before a partner ever interacts with the hardware: a process that is bespoke, data-driven, and inherently exclusive.
What It Does
MaRe Signal is an end-to-end partner acquisition engine.
For this iteration, we focused on the Discovery layer:
Discovery: We built an intelligent mapping system that identifies luxury salons in high-net-worth metropolitan areas that meet the $1M+ revenue threshold. The output is a curated, high-quality map of potential partners—prioritized by relevance and brand alignment.
(Analysis and Personalization layers are part of the broader vision but not yet implemented.)
How We Built It
We prioritized a high-performance stack to ensure outputs felt production-ready and aligned with the brand:
Intelligence: Anthropic’s Claude 4.6 Sonnet acted as our “Brand Guardian,” ensuring outputs remained aligned with MaRe’s clinical and refined tone. Extraction: Firecrawl agents navigated salon directories and Instagram footprints to identify and structure relevant salon data. Frontend: Built with Next.js and Tailwind CSS to reflect MaRe’s “Warm Sand and Deep Teal” visual identity. Challenges We Ran Into
The primary challenge was what we call “The Luxury Guardrail.”
Standard LLM outputs tend to be overly enthusiastic—filled with exclamation points and “salesy” language. We had to carefully guide the system to maintain a tone that is restrained, clinical, and aligned with luxury branding.
Accomplishments We’re Proud Of
We successfully transformed a generic intake concept into a structured discovery system.
The resulting map of curated salons already provides immediate value by:
Reducing noise in lead generation Highlighting high-quality, aligned prospects Creating a clear foundation for future expansion What We Learned
In luxury B2B, precision matters more than volume.
A smaller, highly curated set of prospects is significantly more valuable than a broad, unfiltered list.
What’s Next for MaRe Signal Image-Based Insights: Incorporate visual analysis to evaluate salon aesthetics (interior, branding, client experience) and enrich the discovery map with qualitative signals. Analysis Layer: Build a scoring system that prioritizes leads based on expansion signals, positioning, and brand alignment. Personalization Layer: Generate tailored outreach and microsites for each prospect. ROI Modeling: Introduce projected revenue uplift to quantify value for every potential partner.
