March madness and basketball trading cards

What it does

Takes info from your Instagram account and turns it into a basketball trading card

How we built it

We made a website using node vite express js and the magic hour API and an Apify instagram scrapper

Challenges we ran into

Definitely working around the APIs can be a bit of a challenge and making everything work together smoothly.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The export functionality works very well for converting html into a png

What we learned

We learned a lot about serving up content from an api and maintaining that content for later use on the site

What's next for March Madness Card Generator

We think we could add more things that you can tweak and we could see other sports being very easy to add. Also if we had the money getting it hosted on the internet rather than only locally.
