Race your marble through a colorful toy-world filled with slides, boosts, and chaos! Choose your marble, drop into the track, and compete against players in a fast, fun, kid-toy–styled arena. Simple, bright, playful — and seriously addictive.
Inspiration
Marble Rumble is inspired by those captivating Facebook reels featuring marbles racing down elaborate tracks.
What it does
Take control of a marble and reach the end of the track as fast as possible! But be careful: don’t fall off the course, and avoid the toy obstacles scattered throughout this vibrant world.
How we built it
We used the Meta Horizon Worlds Desktop Editor to create Marble Rumble, especially leveraging its AI assistant to generate 3D models and textures.
Challenges we ran into
Creating dynamic marble physics was one of the biggest challenges during early prototyping, but it paid off — Horizon Worlds provides a surprisingly robust 3D engine.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
One of our biggest achievements is the world broadcast implementation that looks mesmerizing, like the reels that inspired us. I would stare at it for so long!
What we learned
Building this world improved our understanding of the 3D engine and marked our first use of the World Broadcast API.
What's next for Marble Rumble
I plan to add more themed races, new skin collections, and additional quests to make the game even better! A new way to control your marble is also on the way; stay tuned!
