We wanted to create an app that could be used to share breaking news for the 50 most populated cities around the world. We were inspired by a Twitter and RSS newsfeeds and wanted to share live updates to the public from local news sources because they often provide the most immediate and firsthand events. The target user is the well-informed person, who wants to know what is going on in the world at any given time. The timer system and our news link for Los Angeles are what I am most proud of.
