Inspiration

We were inspired by the challenges Emirates faced in innovating their customer service support system to allow for increased efficiency and effectiveness in the help they provide clients in the midst of busy airports world wide. In order to work towards a solution to this problem, our team tapped into AI and image processing technologies and procedures to come up with an optimal solution.

What it does

Our API allows for the automatic generation of a node space give any floor plan file. This element of the project is very crucial and innovative as it allows for greater flexibility in the application of the technology by removing the restriction of relying on nodes manually inputted for a particular floor plan. Instead, with our API, the user simply needs to upload any floor plan image they wish to implement an AI search algorithm for, and our algorithm will process the image with different line detection and filter analysis procedures, and then create a reasonably dense node graph within the legal search space. The way our algorithm accomplishes this second task is by representing the plan in a cartesian space and then mathematically distributing legal nodes to maintain a distribution that is not overly spares or dense.
