What's next for Mapa del Ser

Mapa del Ser (The Self Map): Unlocking Human Value Inspiration: The profound insights of Dr. Robert S. Hartman's Value Profile felt underutilized in the digital age. I envisioned a way to make jeho complex axiological science accessible, offering immediate self-understanding to individuals and powerful tools to therapists. What I Learned: The journey was a deep dive into axiological theory, frontend interactivity, and the nuances of creating a user-friendly experience for a psychological test. I learned the importance of breaking down complex problems (like the 3-part test structure) into manageable JavaScript components and the challenges of state management in a SPA.

How It Was Built: Frontend (MVP): Built as a Single Page Application using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (with jQuery/jQuery UI for the drag-and-drop Axiogram sorting). Local Development: Leveraged LocalWP for a stable WordPress environment, enabling theme/plugin customization. Core Logic: Implemented the 3-part Hartman test flow, dynamic Axiogram rendering, and result-saving (initially to localStorage, with a backend API planned). Styling: Custom CSS to create an intuitive and engaging sorting interface. Challenges Faced: Initial Setup & Tooling: Navigating WordPress.org setup, child themes, and script enqueuing. Drag-and-Drop: Ensuring a smooth and reliable drag-and-drop experience across devices. State Management: Persisting test progress and user data effectively client-side before backend integration. API Design: Conceptualizing the shift from a client-side MVP to a full-fledged API-driven SaaS platform for B2C & B2B is the next big, exciting challenge. This project aims to be more than a test; it's a first step towards a platform for deeper human understanding.
