Inspiration

We wanted to create an app that gave a platform for individuals who would like to show their covid vaccination card.

What it does

Our app lets you submit a picture of your covid vaccine with your name and adds it to our homepage map. In our homepage map you can see markers that you can click and shows the posts that have been submitted.

How we built it

We built the application using the Flask framework, sql database, and boto3. The site is pretty simple, practically consists of two routes.

Challenges we ran into

Challenges we ran into was honestly the learning curve. Alex knew the stuff but David and Irvin were pretty new to it.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are overall proud of our project in its beginning phases.

What we learned

Being able to learn some flask and create an application was pretty cool.

What's next for Map That Covid Vaccine

We would like to implement a comment section that would display when you click a picture on the map. We would like to work on the frontend and the ability to delete post via a email.
