Sentinel detects potential falls in first responders using motion sensors. If inactivity follows, a 3-second warning precedes a red light and pulsing buzzer to signal distress.

First responders risk becoming incapacitated in dangerous environments where their teammates may not immediately notice. Sentinel is a wearable device that uses motion sensing to detect potential falls and monitor subsequent movement. If no significant movement is detected, it provides a three-second warning before activating a red LED and pulsing buzzer. In deployment, it would activate a wireless alert to other first responders.
