The inspiration behind Manasheal stems from a deep commitment to mental health care. Recognizing the growing importance of addressing stress and anxiety, we set out to create a platform that not only assesses these levels but also provides tangible solutions. Our goal is to offer support and guidance to individuals navigating the complexities of mental health.

What It Does

Manasheal is a comprehensive mental health care website that assesses stress and anxiety levels while offering practical solutions. The platform features a live chatbot connecting users with experienced doctors and mentors. Additionally, our multilingual support ensures that language is never a barrier to seeking help.

How We Built It

Manasheal was built using React for its frontend, ensuring a dynamic and responsive user interface. Firebase served as the backbone for storage and data management, providing a secure and real-time database. The collaborative effort involved leveraging React components to design an intuitive UI, implementing Firebase authentication for privacy, and seamlessly integrating a live chatbot feature for instant user-professional communication. Despite challenges, this combination of React and Firebase proved instrumental in creating a robust and scalable mental health care platform that prioritizes user experience and data security.

Challenges We Ran Into

Building Manasheal came with its share of challenges. Balancing the technical aspects with the sensitivity of mental health issues required careful consideration. Ensuring the reliability of stress and anxiety assessments and maintaining a secure and confidential environment for users were paramount challenges that we successfully navigated.

In our website, I've comtributed in the development of the blog section, introducing a user-friendly feature where individuals can securely sign in using their Google accounts to ensure authentication. Once logged in, users have the ability to craft and upload their blog posts, as well as manage and delete their own content. This inclusive platform allows all uploaded blog posts to be visible to every user, fostering a thriving community where diverse experiences and thoughts can be openly shared and celebrated through engaging blog contributions.
