Inspiration

Working women reported feelings of stress and anxiety more often than working men. When looking for common tasks working moms must complete, we found that finding child-care options can often be time consuming, causing stress and anxiety. We hoped to find a feasible solution that increases access to child-care options for working mom's to improve their work-life balance.

What it does

This app matches working moms with child-care options based on their preferences, provides a variety of resources to improve work-life balance, and connects moms to communities for support.

Project Description and Impact Statement

Because finding child-care can be time consuming, this task can cause stress and anxiety for many working women. To solve this issue, we’ve developed an app that matches moms with child-care providers based on their preferences. The purpose of this app is to connect working moms with child-care providers, to decrease feelings of stress and anxiety for child-care options for their children.

This app targets working American women. We hope to support women of all races, marital status, and socio-economic background. This app seeks to empower women by providing resources that promote healthier work-life balance.

How we built it

Challenges we ran into
