Inspiration

Making insurance easier for young adults without having to rely on others (e.g. parents, older friends, or mentors) to assist them in the process.

What it does

Simplifies the Statefarm website by providing condense information, tracking features, and assistance towards tracking claims made on the website.

How we built it

We used VSCode and sharing extensions to write HTML, CSS, and Javascript code.

Challenges we ran into

We were having issues utilizing CSS Flexbox and implementing Next.JS.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are fully proud of doing our first Shellhacks project!

What we learned

We learned more about the process of developing an interactive website as well as more features of Next.JS.

What's next for Making Insurance Easy with Jake

We want to complete the claim tracking portion, where we implement relational database with employees associated with their claim and list following steps to complete the process.
