Have you ever been in a situation when your calendar is filled in with important meetings, back to back, 4 hours in a row? Have you ever had trouble finding time in your calendar to take a break, have a coffee, breathe in some fresh air or go to the bathroom?
You could schedule this break of course, but when you realize you need it, it’s too late.
What if you could press one button and have all the necessary breaks scheduled according to your preference? Yes, this is exactly how Bio-breaker can help you do.
What it does
The application analyses your schedule and sends blockers to secure your time for breaks in between meetings. Go forward in your calendar and add breaks for as far as you prefer.
The length of a single meeting, or the total time of several back-to-back meetings after which you want to schedule a break.
Find by part of the title and exclude the events. For example, all “lunch” appointments etc.
How we built it
Created App for MS Teams, so user can open it, configure required settings and create all blockers for the current week in a single click. If required user can always select any next week to do the same.
Challenges we ran into
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We've already demonstrated this App to some of Enterprise clients and they were excited about it, cause they really have a problem, when during the day people have up to 8 hours meetings 1 by 1, what makes them very tired and depressed. With this App they can increase their productivity and stay positive during their working days.
What we learned
Simple and clear idea in most cases can increase clients' experience and give their employees some fresh air during the working day
What's next for MakeSomeBreak App
We are planning to add feature, which will do the breaks automatically without user's interaction. All required breaks will be created automatically based on users' preferences when new Calendar events will appear and meet chosen conditions for breaks creation.
P.S. We've already submitted MakeSomeBreak App in Teams Store, but since there is some issue with MNP ID's on MS side it's not published yet, but submitting Team is happy with the App and ready to publish it.
