Inspiration
As an anime (Japanese film and television animation) fan, I always want to get Merch around my favorite anime, like T-shirts and others. Whatever buy doesn't satisfy my expectation cause, as a fan, I have some creative ideas to try on, and I also even tried to create some designs in Photoshop, but I failed 🤦♂️ cause it's not my expertise and even there are not any reliable websites which might help me to create and buy my personal and customized anime. That's what inspired us to create this beautiful platform.
What it does
MakeIt is an E-Commerce platform for selling and buying products with customization according to buyer affections. Challenges we ran into
Creating such a huge platform in under a month is a challenge in itself. Our main challenge during this hackathon was to manage the team cause working on a huge project with four members of the team. We had to plan everything from the beginning, which was time-consuming but worth it.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Being able to complete everything we desire within a time limit is an accomplishment we are proud of. I am proud of how our team worked with excellent coordination to create this imaginary product.
What we learned
We learned a lot during this hackathon; since rapyd was new to us, we learned a lot about rapyd and I say yeah, it was worth it. Other than technology stuff, we learned to manage time, structure a project flow, and Coordination with other teammates.
What's next for makeit
We are planning to create a small social media platform for the customizable seller for them to upload their designs, so the public can vote / like them or give their opinion through comments.
