MakeHaven SlackBot

Inspiration:

We wanted to target the Civics Track of the Hackathon. There were two options, and we thought the SlackBot was more interesting.

What it does:

This SlackBot integrates the onboarding process of new MakeHaven members with Slack.

How I built it:

We built the bot using Node.js and BotKit.

Challenges I ran into:

Figuring out how to make a stream of reactionary.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of:

Creating a decent User Experience with the SlackBot.

What's next for MakeHaven SlackBot:

Making the User Experience even better and smoother.
