Inspiration
Everyone loves photos. They are great to look at and it brings about a lot of memories. We wanted to have fun with photos but in a different way. Similar to the photos in the Harry Potter universe.
How it works
The hack works With a camera module, tessel... and of course wifi to model after a photo booth of yesteryear.
Challenges I ran into
The connection to the server was definitely a challenge and we needed to sync photos and which hardware to use to make our vision a reality.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
The gif generator.
What I learned
We learnt about the different types of hardware and their uses. For example, the node js, the management of the local server,the async process and module connections.
What's next for makeGift
Make it work for mobile devices and make it wireless.
