☁️ Inspiration:

During the war between Russia and Ukraine many civilians have faced lots of issues as they seek refuge, help and pray for peace. During such wars victims are displaced from their homes while others are injured and seek shelter and food.

🚧 What it does:

It is a mobile directory app that helps all the victims to search out locations of nearby shelter homes and hospitals and polices stations nearby. It also gives out calendar reminders of events on Peace conference and protest to increase peace and brotherhood among people and the app also consist of live community feed about the happenings around them and news so that they can take preventive steps to be safe. Lastly the App consist of contact details of all Public Service based departments and Officials so that people can reach out to them and contact the right people to help them out in such dire conditions.

🛠️ How we built it:

We have used Javascript to build the app and along with Outsystems to launch the app in a digital mobile environment. We also have used Google tracker and Maps to pin point the locations of the user and the service departments. Twilio is also used to here to compliment the phone app and act as a Free Helpline.

👨🏾‍💻 Challenges we ran into:

Since it was a our first time creating a mobile application so integrating the whole system and designing it was tough for us. We tried to collabrate and learn as much as possible to create the app that we wanted but unfortuantely it would take time.
