We've no doubt university students have ran into problems with their housemates. So to avoid the awkwardness of asking for a bill payment, confronting someone about their messiness and informing people to take the bins out, use this app. Trust us. Don't fall out with your pals over confusion about who was supposed to buy the next bottle of washing up liquid.
What it does
Maison. (For any linguistically challenged people reading this, that's the French word for house.)
This app is designed to create tasks for housemates to ensure everyone is aware of what needs to be done, including who needs to be do it and when it should be done by. This sends a notification to all the housemates and redirects them to a calendar view or list view of everything that needs to get done.

Time constraints. Database shenanigans. We got past it though! Happy days.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Coming this far within such a small amount of time! And surviving on this amount of sleep. Or lack thereof...
Also, A really witty domain name. Maisondetre.net - A clever play on words with the well known French term, Raison d'être. ('The reason for being', the most important reason or purpose for someone or something's existence.)
What we learned
Pusher is awesome! You can do so much with it, and it's so simple to implement. We've made the app push a notification to a user when a task needs to be done, and if somebody feels it necessary, you can remind them again, sending them another notification saying a task is overdue. (See screenshot)
What's next for Maison
So much more. Easy bill splitting system transactions (we'll deal with the messy money situations). More (non passive-aggressive) functionalities to hassle your housemates to get stuff done. And of course, an even prettier UI. (Refer to mockup in the link here)
