Inspiration The inspiration for this project came from the need to automate data retrieval from web services and instantly share the information through email. Many applications require real-time data access and notifications, so this project was created to simplify that process using Flutter. What it does The application connects to web services using HTTP requests, retrieves JSON data from APIs, displays the data in the app, and sends the retrieved information directly to a Gmail account. How we built it We developed the application using Flutter and Dart in Visual Studio Code. The HTTP package was used for API communication, and Gmail integration was implemented for sending emails. The UI was designed to be simple and user-friendly. Challenges we ran into Some challenges included handling API responses, managing asynchronous operations, and configuring Gmail email sending securely within the application. Accomplishments that we're proud of We successfully created a working Flutter application that retrieves live data from APIs and sends it through email automatically. What we learned We learned how to work with REST APIs, HTTP requests, JSON parsing, asynchronous programming in Flutter, and email integration using Gmail services. What's next Future improvements include adding Firebase authentication, cloud database support, better UI design, and push notifications.
