Inspiration

When working with project that send out emails, especially lots of emails, I found myself having to setup a local email server on Windows machines, or sendmail on Linux machines. This became tedious. Thus MailSlurper was born!

What it does

MailSlurper is a SMTP server that will capture emails from your programs, web applications, and application servers then store them in a SQLite, MS SQL Server, or MySQL database. It also provides a web-based user interface to view these captured emails.
