Meet MAIA

MAIA is our AI assistant designed to help you better understand the information provided through text documents, by modeling the content into visual outputs, easy to understand, such as diagrams, images and short videos.

She also acts as a storyteller, offering video summaries and the ability to answer questions about the presented content.

As she is kind and smart and business oriented, she offers constructive feedback and suggestions on the uploaded content in order to help us improve our documents, our diagrams and the way we understand and document the business flows.

Make our work easier

MAIA is useful in many business cases and improves our ways of working in many scenarios:

in client discovery, by quickly generating diagrams after meeting notes in order to have an immediate overview of the discussed business needs;
when*documenting new features*, by generating visual outputs;
getting up to date with new topics by listening an summery provided as audio content;
when documenting processes, by validating the flows, an receiving feedback and suggestions;
interactive interactions by directly asking questions and promptly receiving answers.

What it does

By uploading a document file, our assistant analysis the content and generates the following outputs:

short text summary of the most important topics;
a short video of MAIA presenting the summary;
a data flow diagram;
an use case diagram;
feedback on the provided content;
a voice to voice prompt where you can interact with MAIA.

Challenges we ran into

At the beginning we wanted to use Lucid Chart for diagram generation, but during the Zihack we discovered that the API integration was really difficult, and impossible to archive in few hours. So we had to follow the fallback plan, and research other diagram tools for diagram generation.

Also keeping the scop of the project was challenging for us, as we discovered many interesting capabilities of the latest AI technologies.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We used the latest AI APIs and got familiar with Azure AI Speech. We implemented the document to diagram feature!! No online application or tool offers this feature at the moment. We completed the puzzle with all integrations on time. There are no additional costs or subscription requirements beyond those already held by Zitec.
