Inspiration

The Mai Thai Wallet was inspired by the need to simplify blockchain interactions, making them as intuitive and enjoyable as having a Mai Tai cocktail. We aimed to address the challenges of blockchain complexity, accessibility, and usability, offering a wallet that empowers both experienced users and newcomers.

What it does

Mai Thai Wallet is an AI-powered blockchain wallet that translates user intents expressed through text or voice into actionable blockchain transactions. With features like ERC20 token swaps, balance queries, and transaction bundling, the wallet combines advanced technology like account abstraction and natural language processing to create a seamless experience for users.

How we built it

We used a combination of modern blockchain and AI tools:

Backend: Integration with the Brian API for ERC20 swaps and transaction generation.
AI: Leveraged large language models (LLMs) for intent parsing and classification. We built a modular backend to swap between different AI providers.
Blockchain: Implemented account abstraction to support gas sponsorship and transaction bundling.
Frontend: Built a user-friendly interface, including voice and text inputs, for smooth interaction.
Voice Parsing: We're using Omi device to transfer user voice into blockchain transactions.

Challenges we ran into

Parsing complex user intents into precise blockchain operations required fine-tuning AI models for high accuracy.
Integrating account abstraction features, such as gas sponsorship and transaction bundling, while maintaining security and scalability.
Ensuring compatibility with a range of ERC20 tokens and maintaining near real-time responsiveness.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Successfully creating an accessible wallet interface for visually impaired users, integrating voice interactions seamlessly by using Omi device.
Implementing advanced transaction features like bundling and gas sponsorship, enhancing user convenience.
Delivering a proof-of-concept that demonstrates how AI can bridge blockchain usability gaps.
Live deployment of our application that works on Base Mainnet.

What we learned
