Inspiration

I like playing Riichi Mahjongg with my friends but it is always a pain to calculate the points of the winning hand.

What it does

The final version should calculate the points of the winning hand and keep track on the scoreboard for every player.

How I built it

c# visual studio community project

Challenges I ran into

This was my first c# project so i had to learn quite a few new things in just a little time.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Allthough i am a single person team i think that i did get a lot of work done. im loking forward to continue with this project after DO!Hack 2017.

What I learned

I learned some nice basic c# skills but the most important thing for me is project management. One single person cant get everything done. It is important to distribute the work on different team members each with their special skills.

What's next for MahjonggCalculator

I plan on finishing the event handling to get the tiles of the winning hand. after that i plan on creating a score board to keep track on the scores for every player.
