Inspiration

We thought about the struggles that we have faced during our online learning periods and realized that online learning could be more than just an option to fall back into when we cant meet in person but rather it could be much more. we decided that we wanted to fully utilize the capabilities of online learning to create a communal learning space where knowledge is shared freely and constantly and also gets out into use in real world scenarios.

What it does

We built an all inclusive learning platform which allows students to connect to a wide array of teachers within their school and other schools who volunteer their time in the platform. we also provide a personalized path in order to develop positive academic habits and techniques for the student to succeed in whatever they choose.

How we built it

We built it from scratch using HTML and CSS

Challenges we ran into

Coming up with ideas that had mechanisms which were feasible enough for us to build a solution using technology. Eventually we made a list with all the wacky ideas we had and saw that we could build a working prototype for this over the weekend.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The design of the page was quite pleasing in the end, specially for only using html and css

What we learned

We learned so much about the psychology of learning and how to become better at it. We also discovered the many ways in which online learning can be used to its full potential to develop a new age of scholars and academics

What's next for Magister

Whats next for magister? To partner with institutions to help us build a base for our platform and hopefully have some of them to adopt our platform to nourish the minds of young scholars. We would also like to be able to provide our platform in areas of low resources in order to provide free world-class education for all.
