Inspiration

The Theme Abracadabra took us back to the good old Harry Potter Series. From Wingardium Leviosa to Petrificus Totalus, Philosopher's Stone. From the original book series to the movie franchise and the spin-off video games, the world of Harry Potter has captured the minds of millions of fans across the globe and introduced us to some of our favorite spells ever.

Being Potterheads we were inspired by the Marauder's Map and wanted to recreate the most magical and extraordinary effect in the form of our website. 'Marauder's Map' helps u to trace people from far away on a piece of paper. You can imagine how magical the experience would be.

What it does

This entire website gives you an exact feel of Marauder's Map. When you open this website, it'll show you the 3-D visualization of people walking in and around. This is a complete recreation of the Magical scene which we can see in the Harry Potter series.

How we built it

Using Reactjs and Javascript and a lot of time!!

Challenges we ran into

These are some of the challenges we faced while developing our website: -Getting the Original image of the Marauder's Map was very difficult. Taking pictures from the movie wasn't feasible as there's no such website where we could find any.

-One of the main challenges which we faced was implementing the original footsteps effect that can be seen in the actual movie scene.
