Inspiration
Do you have an image that you want to share with a color blind friend or family member? If so, you can use our Python-powered website to convert the image to greyscale. This will make it easier for them to see the image and understand the content. This al was led to when we saw few video's on internet of color blind people suffering from their lives so decided to neutralize their emotion by generalizing some part of internet like viewing the images
What it does
Our website uses Python to convert images to greyscale. This is a powerful language that is well-suited for image processing tasks. We use a variety of Python libraries to perform the conversion, including NumPy , flask, opencv .
Once the image is converted to greyscale, we can then save it in any file format that you want. We support a variety of file formats, including PNG, JPEG, GIF, and Webp.
How we built it
Used one of the python library Flask to represent it in a web form and integrated opencv to it to let the image converted to greyscale and even used some boostrap to make it responsive site.
Challenges we ran into
We felt very difficult to importing of images in web form and converting it and returning back it in complete resolution image . but we figured it out with** courage ! **
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We have finally completed the project and taking few step forward to improve this society and trying to make this world more accessible.
What we learned
many things related to programming like having to take inputs in form of image and returning it back in form greyscale with help of GET and POST method and even learned few aspects of life while creating this .
What's next for color magic edit - for the color-blinds
Making it reach to more people around the world and have many new things that will help the colorblind people acquire the world of internet in a open way .
