🎬 Inspiration
Magic Circus was born from a desire to blend storytelling, imagery, and music - to recreate, through artificial intelligence, the poetry and wonder of animated films in the Disney/Pixar tradition.
The kind we often discover at the end of the year, during the holiday season, gathering children and adults around the same emotion.
I wanted to capture their visual codes - bold and luminous colors, a clear and expressive artistic direction - as well as their unique tone that mixes poetry and humor, capable of touching both young and old.
Finally, I wanted to create a main musical theme that feels instantly familiar - simple, catchy, and memorable - the kind children love… and parents can’t get out of their heads 😄.
🧠 Process
The project combines:
- AI-generated visuals,
- a cinematic direction,
- and an original musical score.
Each sequence was designed as a living painting: light, rhythm, gestures, voices, and music come together to create a magical and melancholic atmosphere.
The story follows Lili, guided by a mysterious light through the forest to a forgotten circus, where she meets a benevolent troupe born from imagination itself.
⚙️ Challenges
The main challenge was finding the right tone - poetic without being naïve, magical without feeling artificial.
I refined prompts to maintain visual consistency across scenes, adjusted voice timing, and worked on musical composition to achieve the delicate balance of a true animated film.
✨ Result
Magic Circus marks the creation of my first long-form narrative video, entirely designed as an animated film crafted with care and imagination.
Every frame, every piece of music, every voice falls into place like acts in a grand performance.
It’s a **creative experiment between art and technology* - a tribute to imagination, music, and visual storytelling - and a first step toward a new form of poetic cinema.
