Inspiration
Let's bring the Hawaii culture and experience to our guests and families by embracing technology to supply and consume local products.
The Problem
Hawaii producers continue to have trouble getting access to local, national, and international buyers. The current website is manually maintained and out of date.
The Solution
- Consumer facing front end to easily find the right vendor for the job
- User admin section to easily update currently available products
- A marketing distribution technique to allow existing contacts in the database to claim ownership of one or many vendors through an auto generated claim token
- Administration authorization to approve or deny a new vendor
Our Story
Our team found each other this year at the Maui Cohana research and technology center in Kihei. While similarly minded in tech, we all had different strengths. This project allowed us to come together for a good cause and have fun while doing what we love to do: making things.
