Machine learning for CHD prediction

Inspiration

The World Health Organization has reported that around the world there are 12 million deaths due to heart disease each year. Half of deaths are caused by cardio-vascular diseases in the United States and other developed countries. The early prognosis of cardiovascular diseases can aid in making decisions on lifestyle changes in high risk patients and in turn reduce the complications.

What it does

This work aims to identify the most important heart disease risk factors and to estimate the overall risk
