We failed. I think if given like 15 more hours we could have figured this out, but about two hours before the deadline after trying for hours to debug, we realized that our training set for a machine learning program we were trying to build was formatted wrong. After trying for an hour to fix it, we do not have time to train our model at all. We did learn a lot about machine learning and trying to apply it in a way that will be useful in the future.
Machine learning and light dispersion in blood
Training a MLP program on a Monte-Carlo simulation of light dispersion through blood. Hypothetically, testing our model on PPG sensor's readings could be used to determine vein characteristics.
