Face Mask Detection

Inspiration

Due to increase in pollution level and COVID we have decided to make an application that will always tell whether a person or a group of people are wearing face mask or not

Research shows that high levels of air pollution can cause asthma in both children and adults. Children living in areas with high pollution are more at risk. And if you're exposed to high levels of pollution when you're pregnant, whether you have asthma yourself or not, your baby could be more likely to develop asthma. So we decided to make an application that could make a social awareness

finding data set and facing an error in different version of some python libraries like:- open cv

Successfully created, trained our model and implement it

learned more about computer vision and embedded applications

What's next for Face Mask Detection

So with the help of single-board computers and embedded applications like Raspberry Pi and Jetson NANO we will fabricate this into systems for remote places
