Inspiration As a regular user of Flipkart, I was inspired to recreate its homepage to better understand how large-scale e-commerce websites are structured and styled. It was the perfect project to practice frontend development.
What it does This Flipkart Clone replicates the homepage layout using HTML and CSS. It includes a navigation bar, search functionality design, product cards, category banners, and a responsive layout for different screens.
How I built it I used HTML to structure the content and CSS to style the layout, elements, and responsiveness. The clone was built section-by-section, starting from the header to the product grid and footer.
Challenges I ran into Aligning items perfectly like the original site
Making the layout responsive across devices
Organizing CSS to keep it clean and manageable
Accomplishments that I'm proud of Successfully recreated a complex UI
Achieved a clean, responsive design without using any frameworks
Gained a deeper understanding of layout and styling
What I learned HTML semantic structure
CSS Flexbox and Grid for layout
Responsive design techniques
Attention to detail in UI design
